Cars I've never seen in the fles...er, metal.

Of all the supercars I've been fortunate enough to see in real life (Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari F40, Koenigsegg CCX, Spyker C8, BMW M1, McLaren F1!), there are still a few that I've only seen in pictures, and owing to their rarity, I may never see in real life. Off the top of my head:

- Bugatti EB110
- Ferrari F50
- Porsche 959
- Maserati MC12
- Cizeta-Moroder V16-T
- Jaguar XJR-15
- Pagani Zonda or Huayra
- Lamborghini Espada, Islero, Silhouette, Urraco, or Jalpa

I saw the M1 and the F1 in the same place: the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. The EB110 was pre-Volkswagen, so they aren't exactly running around VW HQ.

I saw an F40 once driving down the street, at like 9pm on a Tuesday. I couldn`t and still kind of can`t believe it. But there was nothing else it could have been.

It was dark and I was far away, but it had to be.

I'd much rather see one EB110 in my life than on single Veyron. Unfortunately I have only seen one of the EB110 beauties, and a few ugly fat toad Veyrons.

I haven't seen a 288 GTO, F50, or Enzo but I've seen an f40 and a 250 GTO. No eb110's or veyrons but I have seen an Atlantic Coupe. I haven't seen an SLS yet, but I've seen an SLR and 300sl Gullwing. I've seen an F1 and MP4-12c. I've seen a 959, Spyker, and M1 but no Koenigseggs or Paganis. I've also seen 3 Rs200 (including an evo) and Lancia 037, but I've never seen a stratos. I've never seen forbidden fruit either, like an r32 GTR, TVR Sagaris, or Renault Clio v6. Wackiest car I've ever seen in person goes to the italdesign Aztec concept. I've also seen the yellow/black Ford gt concept and the dodge super 8 concept. I'm not sure I've ever seen a phaeton up close either!

Honestly just take a trip to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Florida and you will shrink that list to 1 or 2 if that. Unfortunately a bunch of the exotic car dealerships closed down when the housing market crashed (all of their wealth existed in fictional property value) but there are still a lot around.

Awesome! I'm surprised you never saw an F50. On the road you won't see it but I remember a couple dealerships having one on display when I lived there back in 2000-2005

I saw a Maserati MC-12 when it was new at the Twin Cities Auto show some years ago. It's a beautiful car, but man was it plastic-y looking in person. The headlight covers looked like they were made from Gatorade bottle plastic. Doesn't stop me from wanting one any less, though.

Two years ago I saw a Ferrari F40 drive past me on the highway in southern Cali when I was visiting family during the middle of the day in moderate traffic. I got to ride next to it for about a minute before it sped away in an opening through traffic. It's even more striking in person.

Since I live in Canada, there's plenty of cars I haven't seen since the roads are covered in salt in the winter. I've always wanted to see a Mercedes-Benz 600, 300SEL 6.3, 190SL, 230/250/280SL, Mazda Cosmo, Honda City Turbo II, and a ton more.

The Espada looks way cooler in the flesh. Photos don't really show how big and low and broad it is. It has real presence.
